Congrats to the “no name” team for winning the dragons shield in the baseball paddlepool bonanza coming down to the wire 10-9
Unfortunately the finals did not go our way...
Mixed 1 v Pirates
It felt like a bit of a replay of last week with a goal in the final minutes to Pirates. It was a scrappy game with the first period scoreless. Unfortunately, Pirates got one late and another one with our goalie pulled with 11 seconds to go.
Going down 4-2.
Mixed 2 v Pirates
We had one sub this week but it was a super close game. With some quality goals all round from dragons, going from 2-0 down in the first period to end with a 4-3 loss. We put pressure on at the end but couldn’t steal the win.
Thank you to all our wonderful supporters who came and cheered us on throughout the season and the finals.
Women's v Pirates
In the previous week, Dragons took on Pirates in a do or die game. Unfortunately Pirates came out the strong and were just too good for Dragons on the day.
2018/2019 has been a great year for Dragons!
Our Mixed 1 finished 2nd
Mixed 2 finished as minor premiers
Womens finished 4th
Good luck for the finals teams
